Abstract

254,657. Roberts, H. J. March 31, 1926. Model machines. - Relates to a toy wringer or mangle of the type having a pair of rollers 9 ,12 spring-pressed together, and wherein the spindles 7 of one roller are mounted in holes while the spindles 11 of the other roller are mounted in slots 10, and consists in that the spring means comprise tension, coil springs 13 stretched between the spindles of the two rollers. The frame of the machine is formed of two wires 1 which are arched at the middle and have their ends imbedded in cylindrical blocks. The wires are spaced apart by metal plates 2, 3, 5 which also serve to position a draining board 4 and a floor board 14. The rollers are actuated by a handle 8 forming a continuation of one of the spindles 7.
