430,941. Air - brakes for aircraft. BOULTON & PAUL, Ltd., Riverside Works, and NORTH, J. D., Hill House, Eaton, both in Norwich. June 8,1934, No. 17028. Addition to 413,662. [Class 4] The hinged flap 10 provided on the under surface of an aircraft wing, as in the parent Specification, is hinged by members 29 to a rod 12 and through intermeshing sectors 30, 31 is operated together with an auxiliary flap 21 on actuation of the pilot's control 28 to deflect the flap 21 and facilitate admission of air for expansion of the chamber 15. Actuation of the control to open or close the chamber simultaneously moves a flap 22 to close or open a passage 20 which connects the chamber to a region of relatively low pressure.
