427,669. Oscillating motors. PEZZONI, O., 44, Viale Abruzzi, Milan, Italy. Feb. 21, 1934, No. 5758. [Class 35] [See also Group X] An air agitator comprises a rod to which is given a pendular motion and which carries at its end a fan, or paper fringe to drive away flies. A rod 2 pivoted at 20 to a frame 15 has an extensible portion 16 carrying a fringe 19, and is oscillated electrically by a coil 1 which moves over a core 8. Movement of the rod to the right causes a pin 24 to raise a pivoted member 3, and on the return movement of the rod the pin engages a shoulder 23, and raises a blade 5 into contact with a resilient plate 7 which closes a circuit through the coil and gives an impulse to the swinging rod which completes its movement in the opposite direction and receives another impulse.
