Abstract

289,367. Heilbronn, L. Jan. 27, 1928. Vacuum cleaners.-A beater is oscillated by an electromagnet b in or on the suction nozzle. The armature is loosely guided by screws f and controlled by springs e opposed to the magnetic attraction. The beater may be rigidly but exchangeably connected with the armature by means of screws or connected to it elastically, and may itself be resilient, or constitute a brush. The throw of the armature may be varied by the screws f.
