427,500. Composite wooden panels. MORRIS, H., 147, Milton Street, Glasgow. Dec. 15, 1933, No. 35307. [Class 145 (ii)] A laminated wooden panel comprises a core of Balsa wood sandwiched between outer plies of wood other than Balsa wood. The core may comprise strips 1 of Balsa wood glued together; plies 2 of some other wood, to which veneers 3 may be attached, are glued to the core. End strips 4 are bevelled at 5 and have tongues 6 fitting grooves in the core. The panel can be used for doors, furniture components, partitions, &c., and is particularly applicable for ship and airship furnishings.
