[Class 145 (ii).] A composite board comprises three veneers a, c, d with uni-directional grain and butts and edges e staggered, a veneer f on each side with grain at right-angles, and finally a veneer of valuable wood g applied to one or both faces. This board is applied to a door frame h, the edges of which are first covered with veneer l and which has spaced vertical battens j to receive the board. The board may also be used for flooring, or table tops.
