426,416. Garages. BARTON, T. H., Chilwell Road, Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Oct. 27, 1933, No. 29829. [Class 20 (i)] Motor garages are fitted with units each comprising a pair of multi-deck cages A, B, the cages being suspended from the ends of a chain G passing over guide pulleys H and a driving wheel J, so that the cages balance each other and move equally in opposite directions. The cages have guide rollers D running on vertical frames C of the unit, and two floors, such as A<1>, B<3> are arranged always to align simultaneously with the loading stage or floor E. The wheel J may be driven manually by a crank handle, or by a motor L through worm gearing.
