Driving endless-belt elevators.-A bucketelevator 17 is driven from the rear wheels of a motor vehicle or trailer by two friction rollers 1 mounted on a shaft carried by hangers 5 pivoted on the sides of the vehicle. The upper end of the elevator is secured to the vehicle by struts, not shown. The lower sprockets are carried on a spindlebetween bars 3 which are held in position bv ropes 10, and the elevator is driven by the friction rollers 1 through chain-and-sprocket gearing.
