327,681. Hunter, W. H. Jan. 1, 1929. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Drawings to Specification. Chain gearing, non-variable speed, for pedal or power driven cycles &c. comprises the combination of an elliptical or like chain wheel and an eccentric or like chain wheel with a gear ratio of two to one, the chain wheels being so arranged as to maintain the chain tension, while increasing the leverage during the effective part of the stroke. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 9377/96 and 17026/96.
