[Class 79 (i)] Each track carrier or frame comprises three sections 1, 2, 3, the end sections being pivoted at 8, 9 to the centre section 2 so as to be angularly-movable relatively thereto, a single track a being passed round the guiding and driving pulleys 4, 6, and the supporting rollers 5. The end sections 1, 3 may be arranged as shown for normal running so that the end parts of the lower run of the track are inclined upwardly, or the sections may be inclined (1) downwardly, the whole of the lower run of the track being horizontal for crossing ditches, or (2) upwardly, so that the end parts of the track are steeply inclined upwardly for climbing high obstacles. The end sections may be adjusted by hand or power means. The upper run of the track is supported by rollers 7 which may also serve for tensioning the track.
