Abstract

425,210. Valve - discharge water - waste - preventers. LUNDBERG, O., Saltsjobaden, Sweden. Sept. 13, 1934, No. 26344. [Class 26] In a valve-discharge water-waste-preventer of the kind which is disposed directly on the closet and in which the valve is rigidly connected to a vertical overflow tube 14 adapted to be guided by a stationary device 24 within it, the lower portion of the guide 24 extends through the bottom of the tank and through a ledge 1 upon which the tank rests, and is provided with means such as nuts 26, 27, for securing it to the tank and to the ledge, thereby anchoring the tank to the closet. The valve is operated by means of a handle 18 connected to a rod 17 carrying a fork 16 engaging a flange 15 upon the tube 14. The outlet from the tank takes place through an aperture 3 and passages 5 which communicate with the flushing rim 9 by apertures 7. The cover 19 of the closet is secured by a bolt 20 to bars 21 secured together about flanges 23 by bolts 22.
