Abstract
357,205. Shower baths. SPENCER, C. W., 23, Lancaster East Krugersdorp, Transvaal, South Africa. June 14, 1930, No. 16385. [Class 26.] In a portable shower bath of the type in which water may be raised from a vessel a to a rose g by means of a pump b mounted in the vessel, the pipe e is of telescopic construction and is rigidly mounted in the vessel so as to be both adjustable in height and self-supporting. The pump cylinder h is supported by means of two sets of three stays and is provided with a number of holes, by way of which water passes through a non-return valve in the piston d when the latter is depressed against the action of a spring. The apparatus may be secured in a collapsed position by means of a nut.
