Abstract
In the process described in the parent Specification, according to which resins are extracted from guttapercha, the albane is separated from the fluavil and returned to the gutta, the resins are extracted and the solvent, e.g. solvent naphtha, is removed at a temperature not exceeding 100 DEG C., and the resins are allowed to stand at room temperature, whereupon the solid albane separates from the liquid fluavil. The removal of the solvent may be effected by blowing steam through the solution.ALSO:In the process described in the parent Specification according to which, resins are extracted from guttapercha, the albane is separated from the fluavil, and returned to the gutta, the resins are extracted, and the solvent, e.g. solvent naphtha is removed from the extract at a temperature not exceeding 100 DEG C., and the resins are allowed to stand at room temperature, whereupon the solid albane separates from the liquid fluavil. The removal of the solvent may be effected by blowing steam through the solution.
