[Class 81 (ii)] A colonic irrigator comprises a frame a adapted to be supported on a toilet bowl and carrying a plate c flanged at c<1> to receive a colon tube d, a valve member e slidable on the plate c and formed with a vertical passage e<3> communicating by a horizontal passage with a supply pipe h which is provided with a finger piece h<1> whereby the valve e is moved into or out of line with the colon tube to control the flow and discharge of water. The plate c is formed with slideways for the valve e the movement of which is limited by a stop c<4> and a detachable screw f. A yielding watertight-washer g of cork or the like is seated in the upper face of the valve. The frame a is rubber covered at b and has a cross member i formed with a slot il in which the tube h rests. U.S.A. Specification 1,918,681 is referred to.
