Abstract
423,412. Tables, stools, and the like. ROBERTS, F., 32, Rupert Street, Coventry Street, London. June 1, 1934, No. 16368. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii)] A folding table, stool, or like article, shown inverted, comprises a top 3 with two pairs of hinged legs 5, 6 connected by braces 8 which compel them to fold in parallel. When folded thus, the pivots 10 connecting the parts 5, 8 are coaxial with the pivots 4 connecting the parts 3, 6 ; the parts 6, 8 and the shelf 9, may then be folded over again so as to lie between the parts 5. A two-part shelf 11 may be fitted between panels 7, attached to the legs 5, 6 ; the hinges 12 permit this also to be folded over in the same manner.
