Abstract
420,226. Inductances. VOGT, H., 69, Steglitzer Strasse, Lichterfelde, Berlin. Feb. 27, 1933, No. 5938. [Class 37] A low loss high-frequency inductance coil for broadcast receivers has a non-laminated moulded core with a magnetic cross - section not exceeding 1À5 cm<2>, and a multi-layer winding not exceeding 0À5 cm<2> cross-sectional area at right-angles to the conductors and not exceeding 1À5 cm in height. The weight of the core is not greater than 15 grammes and the internal diameter of the winding does not exceed 2cm. The winding 5 is carried on a former 6 and comprises 20 to 40 stranded and insulated wires of 0À04 to 0À07 mm. in diameter. The former 6 and its partitions 7 are preferably constructed of polystyrol. The permeability of the core is less than 18 and preferaby is 12. The core may be a complete shell of rectangular or circular shape and when it is not of shell-type, a screening box may be employed.
