419,131. Pianofortes &c. NYLUND, E. G. A., 17, Strandbodgatan, Upsala, Sweden. July 24, 1934, No. 21654. [Class 88 (ii).] In a stringed musical instrument such as a pianoforte, in order to reduce dimensions, the inner end of the key 1, i.e. the part beyond the fulcrum 2<a>, is shortened and acts at a compensating point 11<a> on a single-armed lever 11 to the end of which is connected the adjustable pull rod 14. The rod 14 passes through the key and directly actuates the action 15.
