418,520. Reinforced-concrete floors. CONNIES, S., 120, Marlborough Road, Cardiff. April 27, 1933, No. 12237. [Class 20 (iv).] Reinforced-concrete floors are moulded upon corrugated metal sheets 3 which are carried between the lower flanges of spaced filler joists 1 extending between main girders 2, and are adapted to accommodate, in the corrugations 4 on their undersides, furring strips 5 for securing a lathing 6 for a plaster or other covering. The corrugations are of rectangular form and extend between adjacent pairs of joists 1, and the strips 5 project below the sheet. The strips 5, which are shaped at the ends to fit over the flanges of the joists 1, may be formed of wood, breeze concrete blocks, &c.
