[Class 126.] In an oil or gas heated cooking - stove having a plurality of ovens 3, 3<a>, 3b, 4, 4<a>, 4b, the flues surrounding the ovens are traversed by the hot gases from combustion chambers 2, 2<a> which are provided at opposite ends with burners 11 delivering on to a central perforated partition 10. The ovens are divided, by plates 13, into two groups, 3<a> and 4<a> being heated from the combustion chamber 2 and 3, 3b, 4, 4<b> from the combustion chamber 2<a>; dampers 17 are provided to enable ovens 3b, 4b to be cut out if required. The combustion chambers may be fired by one or both burners, the perforated partition 10 allowing, in the former case, passage of some of the gases to heat the oven or ovens on the opposite side of the stove. The gases pass to the oven top flues 7, 7<a> through openings 8 and, after traversing the side and bottom flues 6, 6<a>, 14, 14<a>, enter passages 16, 16<a> which are divided by vertical firebrick partitions 12, 12<a> to provide four separate outlet flues each delivering into one compartment of a partitioned chimney 9. The compartments of the latter are fitted with separate dampers the position of which is shown by indicators 19 on the exterior of the chimney. An horizontal baffle 28 is arranged above each of the burners 11 to direct the flames on to the partitions 10, while air-supply passages 26, having damper-controlled inlets, are formed in the bases of the combustion chambers 2, 2<a>.
