416,088. Dynamo - electric machine casings. STONE & CO., Ltd., J., Deptford, and CHILTON, A. H., 200, Brompton Road, Chelsea, both in London. March 10, 1933, No. 7314. [Class 35.] A cover seating for the inspection or like opening in a cylindrical steel dynamoelectric machine casing is formed by a wire or moulding welded around the edge of the opening. In the form shown, wire 5 is seam welded around the edges of the openings 3 in the casing 1 which is formed by bending a steel plate and welding the ends together. Lugs 12 are also welded to the edges of openings 3 to be engaged by a bar 8 which may be rotated by the handle 9 and clamped by the nut 11 to secure the cover 4.
