Abstract

510,470. Junction boxes. SIEMENS BROS. & CO., Ltd., and ROSE, C. E. March 4, 1938, No. 6754. [Class 38 (i)] A pair of clamping and bonding saddles 16, which embrace a cable, are secured by bolts, the stems of which pass clearly through diametrically opposite lugs 15 in a junction box 1 adjacent the place of entry of the cable. The bolts pass between the legs of the U-shaped lugs projecting from the wall, and clamp radially extending ends of the embracing saddles. Rigid reinforcing plates 17 cover the ends if necessary.
