Abstract

186,768. Thursfield, F., and Cosway, G. P. Aug. 9, 1921. Junction boxes.-A link box has detachable flanges H for external connection of the mains interchangeable with blanking - off covers J, conductors B in parallel arrangement extending across the box and supported by pillars C carried by a body of insulating-material located near 'the base of the box, and strips of insulating material L dividing the conductors from each other and from the walls of the box. The box is filled with compound in the factory to a Jevel 'below the links or fuses D and the insulating strips are set in its surface. The glands and blanking off covers have filling- plugs H<8>.
