128,431. Boothroyd, G. S., and Callender's Cable & Construction Co. July 12, 1918. Supporting tubes.-A fixing and supporting device for tubes, electric wires, &c. consists of a channel-section metal base-plate b fixable to a wall &c. and a metal saddle a having a gripping lining c. The saddle a springs or slides into or over the base-plate b, the edges of which are turned up and over inwardly or up as shown in Fig. 10. Tongues on the plate lock into cutaway portions in the saddle.
