Abstract

416,012. Electric - lamp holders. CRABTREE, J. A., Endwood, Little Aston Park, Sutton Coldfield. March 4, 1933, No. 6617. [Class 39 (ii).] A flexible lead having a nonconducting cord therein to take tensile stress is anchored to a lamp-holder &c. by knotting the cord to a loose anchoring member e that fits against shoulders b<2>, b3 or over a central pillar b<1> in the cavity b. An extension e<1> adjacent the entry d has holes e<2>, e3 for knotting the cord, and the member may bear indications of the correct connections for the terminals. The member e may also act as a separator between the earth and live leads as described in Specification 320,793, [Class 38 (i)]. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 291,376, [Class 38 (i)].
