Abstract
415,771. Valve amplifying circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., Electra. House, Victoria Embankment, London, and GILL, E. W. B., Merton College, Oxford. March 1, 1933, No. 6266. [Class 40 (v).] A photo-electric cell 1, sub. jected to varying illumination, is connected in series with a source of potential 3 of such value, and a diode 2 so activated, that the diode presents a relatively small resistance to the steady component of the photo-electric current and a large resistance to the fluctuating component. The output is taken across the terminals of the diode.
