Abstract

414,675. Inflating-valves. BEASLEY, T., 33, Narbonne Avenue, Clapham, and BEASLEY VALVES, Ltd., 53, New Broad Street, both in London. Feb. 3, 1933, No. 3386. Addition to 387,354. [Class 135.] An inflating-valve of the kind described in the parent Specification has the upper end of the threaded enlargement of the internal fitting formed with a pair of projections 19 adapted to co-operate with a slot 23 formed in a cap 20 arranged to screw on the body of the valve. The internal fitting 9 has a coned valve face at its lower end adapted to co-operate with a seat 8 and at its upper end has a screwed enlargement 12 formed with an axial bore 15 leading to a transverse bore 14 opening on flat surfaces 13. A sleeve 16 is seated against a shoulder in the bore 15 to provide a seat for a non-return lift valve mounted on a spindle 18. The cap 20 is provided with an annular sealing washer secured between a pair of concentric flanges on a member 24, providing a recess to accommodate the end of the spindle 18.
