Abstract
414,003. Heating by circulation of fluids. KILBURN, B. E. D., 31, High Holborn, London.-(Sulzer FrÞres Soc. Anon. ; Winterthur, Switzerland.) March 9, 1934, No. 7543. [Class 64 (ii).] In a hot-water circulating system comprising two or more noncommunicating closed circuits I, II, III-each containing a pump P1, P2, P3-the primary circuit includes a boiler K and heatexchangers B, A in the flow and return paths of the circuit respectively, the heat-exchangers constituting a subsequent and a primary source of heat for the secondary circuit II. Similarly, heat-exchangers D, C supply heat to a tertiary circuit, the arrangement being extended to additional circuits if required. In a modification the heat-exchanger D in the flow path of the secondary circuit is replaced by a heatexchanger in the flow path of the primary circuit. In another arrangement, heat is supplied to the tertiary circuit by two additional heat-exchangers, in the flow and return paths of the main circuit respectively.
