412,517. Telemeter and view-finder for photographic cameras. ZEISS IKON AKT.-GES., 72, Schandauer Strasse, Dresden, Germany. Jan. 25, 1934, No. 2649. Convention date, Jan. 25, 1933. [Class 98 (i).] In a combined telemeter and view-finder, compensation for parallax during finding is effected by arranging that the direction of view of the finder is adjusted simultaneously with the adjustment of the telemeter. The adjusting-knob 4 turns the movable mirror 2 of the telemeter by means of cam 3 and simultaneously, by means of a cam 7 bearing on a fixed projection 8, turns the whole telemeter housing 5 about an axis 6 so as to tilt the finder 11, 12 to compensate for parallax. In a modification, Fig. 4, the telemeter housing 5 remains stationary and the eye lens of the finder is mounted in a lever 13 adjustable about a pin 14 by means of a cam 7 on the spindle of the adjusting-knob of the telemeter.
