[Class 27.] In a prepayment electricity meter, a pivoted arm d, Fig. 2, carrying a pricechanging wheel train c is adapted at one end for engagement by a tapered projection n on a resilient blade o, which can be depressed by a key inserted through a hole p in the casing q thereby disengaging the pricechange train from the epicyclic quantity mechanism k so that the switch controlling arm b and its associated parts are free to be returned to zero position under the action of a spring l. The price-change wheels c transmit the drive from a meter wheel a to the quantitymechanism k. The arm d has a notch f at one end engaging a fixed pivot pin g and a lateral notch at the other end engaging a removable stop pin i, so that the arm and wheel train can be removed when desired.
