Counters actuated by revolving-mechanism.- The actuating and detent pawl levers of a revolution counter are maintained in contact with the ratchet teeth by light spiral springs bearing directly or through a hard metal sphere against the under face of the pawl lever. As shown, the actuating pawl lever e<2> is loosely pivoted at e' and is rocked to drive the ratchet wheel a<2> by means of a pin d<1> eccentrically mounted in the driving spindle d. The pawl lever is held in driving contact by a spiral spring f housed in the base c. A similar arrangement may be adopted for the non-reverse detent.
