411,970. Gathering fruit. CHIVERS & SONS, Ltd., and HARRADINE, A. C., Histon, Cambridge. Feb. 3, 1933, No. 3394. [Class 6 (iii).] A double container for use in collecting fruit comprises a large tray-like receptacle 12 of wood, metal or other material, provided with a handle 13, and a smaller receptacle 14 adapted to be detachably secured to the side of the larger receptacle by hook-like clips 15, as shown, by studs on the one receptacle engaging keyhole slots on the other, by a locking pin or pins passing through staples projecting from the one receptacle through apertures in the other, by cord or wire lashings passing through cooperating holes in the two receptacles or by spring clips secured to the one passing over the side of the other. The sound fruit is placed in the one receptacle and the damaged or overripe in the other.
