Abstract

411,010. Valves. CROSS, R. C., 33, Midford Road, Odd Down, Bath. Oct. 2, 1933, No. 27031. [Class 7 (vi).] The housings of the rotary valves of internal-combustion engines and pumps are provided with a port 3 having a continuous integral lip 4 normally tending to project towards the valve space. The port may be formed in a detachable unit 2, which may be of different metal from the rest of the housing, and may be attached to the adjoining parts by means of flanges 5. Specifications 276,890, [Class 7 (vi)], and 373,660 are referred to.
