Abstract

In a nozzle for supplying cement slurry or the like to a rotary kiln, the end plate or the portion thereof in which the delivery aperture is located, is formed of tungsten carbide, containing approximately 6 per cent of carbon, alloyed with 5-15 per cent of cabalt.
