[Class 78 (i)] A helical shoot comprises a track 2 secured along its inner edge to a pillar 1, and a retaining cover 3 fixed to the pillar extends over the track so that, when discharge of material from the lower end is stopped, spillage of material at radial distances from the pillar such that the angle of inclination of the track exceeds the angle of repose of the material, is prevented.
