410,682. Machines for calendering rubber. PRATT, A., 17, Courthill, Bearsden, near Glasgow. Oct. 25, 1933, No. 29515. [Class 70.] A rolling machine for rubber latex coagulum is constructed with one large feed roller a and several smaller rollers b, c, d, arranged at intervals near the periphery thereof so as to reduce the thickness of the coagulum by several stages so that all the work commonly done in several sets of rollers can be done in the one machine and in one operation. The three rollers b, c, d, are shown mounted in adjustable bearings and set so that the distance between each and the large roller decreases with each successive roller. Marking-rollers e, f, are also shown. The spray system supplying water to all the points of pressure is controlled by a hand-tap h.
