409,830. Cutting pliers. HEWITT, G. W., 8, Wilton Grove, Denton, Lancashire. Dec. 24, 1932, No. 36570. [Class 61 (ii).] In cutting-pliers having two curved jaws A<1>, A<2> each provided with a sharp cutting edge, each jaw is provided with a sheath or cover B<1>, B<2> of insulating material, leaving only the cutting edge exposed, to avoid shortcircuiting different cores in a multi-core cable. To allow a cut of predetermined depth to be made, an adjusting screw C passes through one leg E<2> of the gripping end of the pliers and forms a stop against which the other leg E<1> contacts to limit the closure of the jaws.
