405,814. Starting. PESCARA, R. P., 115, Rue de la Tour, Paris. March 1, 1933, No. 6270. Convention date, March 1, 1932. [Class 7 (v).] Motor-compressors with freely moving pistons 11, 12 are started by compressed air from a reservoir supplied to stabilizing cylinder spaces 26, 27 which are closed during the greater part of the stroke, the amount of compressed air introduced being limited in quantity and pressure so as to be sufficient to effect starting while permitting subsequent normal working. Non- return valves 33 prevent return of air to the reservoir, and ports 29 open communication with the atmosphere at the end of the stroke.
