404,846. Rotary engines. FLOTTMANN AKT.-GES., 94, Flottmannstrasse, Herne, Westphalia, Germany. May 3, 1933, No. 12942. Convention date, June 3, 1932. [Class 110 (ii).] A compressed-air motor comprises internallymeshing gears 1, 3, separated by a crescentshaped block 5 which is provided with supply chambers 6, 7, leading to nozzles 10, 11, which drive the rotors in clockwise or anti-clockwise directions. The supply ports 8, 9, lead to a pipe having a central partition. The rotor 1 is bolted to members 17<1> which are supported by roller bearings 18<1> on stationary pins 14. One member 17<1> is provided with a pinion 19 meshing with a gear 21 on the power-supply shaft 22. The outer casing 23 can be swung into various positions about the pins 14 by removing bolts 24. The engine may be used for driving conveyers or winches.
