Abstract

In base-exchange water-softening apparatus of the kind, which comprises a multi-passage valve with a single operating member for placing the valve in positions corresponding to softening treatment and regeneration of the base-exchange medium respectively, the valve incorporates an injector through which water is passed to draw regenerating liquid through a conduit connected to a source of supply and force it through the base-exchange material, this conduit serving solely for delivery of the regenerating liquid. The special constructions of apparatus described in the Specification are identical in form with those described in Specification 393,452.
