399,734. Safety razors. SCHAANNING, K. H., Egersund, Norway. April 11, 1933, No. 10809. Convention date, April 20, 1932. [Class 30.] A lather-receiving device for single or double-edged safety-razors comprises a frame 4 supported against or integral with the back of the guard 2 and provided with lather-passing apertures 5 extending approximately all round its circumference and separated from the guard by narrow supporting-edges 12. These edges form a wall on which the thin lather is held by adhesion, allowing the less fluid lather and further thin lather to pass over the edges into the frame. The frame is formed as a one-piece sheet-metal stamping doubled over at 7a to provide a manipulating handle 7 and a spring clamp 6 embracing the razor handle. The handle 7 may be provided with interengaging bows and slots which may be squeezed to open the clip 6.
