453,788. Sharpening razors. DE HAVEN RAZOR CORPORATION, 1, Wall Street, New York, U.S.A. April 12, 1935, No. 11352. Convention date, Feb. 20. [Class 60] [See also Group XIV] The blade is yieldingly secured in place by means of tongues 25 stamped out of the body of the blade and adapted, when the blade is pressed down, to engage with hooks 24 formed on a plate 13 riveted to, or integral with, the head of the frame 10. The tongues pass through slots in the hooks. The back edge of the blade abuts against shoulders 27 on the razor head. In the form of razor shown a hone 19 is mounted on a guard plate 18 formed at the upper end of a lever 16 pivoted at 17 to the handle 10, which is formed with stops 11<a>, 23 to limit the motion of the lever. The hone is formed with a crescent-shaped depression 19b.
