Abstract

399,730. Pneumatic conveyers. INTERNATIONAL CEMENT-GUN CO., GES., 22, Hedemannstrasse, Berlin, and PETERS, C., 2, Glockongiesserwall, Hamburg, both in Germany. April 4, 1933, No. 10093. Convention date, April 28, 1932. [Class 78 (i).] In conveyers of the kind in which the material is set in motion by a highspeed worm A and compressed air is blown into the material through a nozzle ring C, the conduit D is connected to the intake end of the worm by a pipe P. The distributor E is charged from a bunker, or by a worm, and comprises an airlock chamber F and an intake chamber G which are separated by a valve O. This valve, and a similar valve N closing the inlet, are actuated by pneumatic cylinders K, J supplied with air by a regulator H driven by the worm shaft. The regulator actuates also valves L, M. A chamber Q preferably is interposed between the conduit D and the chamber G, and is so designed that dust carried out of the conduit D through the pipe P settles down and returns to the chamber G.
