399,640. Cycle brakes. NEW HUDSON, Ltd. and MOLE, V. H., St. George's Works, Icknield Street, Birmingham. Aug. 17, 1932, No. 23047. [Class 136 (i).] A cycle brake comprises in combination an inverted Y- shaped bracket a for attachment to the cycle fork, two side arms c pivoted at c<1> to the bracket a and provided with brake blocks c<2>, an inverted V- or wedge-shaped member d, provided with outer grooves d<1> for the slidable engagement of the ends of the arms c, Bowden mechanism b carried by the vertical limb of the bracket a and attached centrally to the member d by means of a clip b<1>, and a tension spring c acting on the upper parts of the arms c.
