Abstract

399,128. Calendars. KORESKA (GT. BRITAIN), Ltd., 50, Britannia Street, City Road, London.-(Koreska, W.; 48, Wattgasse, Vienna.) May 26, 1933, No. 15285. [Class 106 (iv).] In tear-off blocks or pads of writing or carbon paper, calendars, or books and the like of the kind in which perforations are provided in the sheets to facilitate separation thereof, the perforations in each sheet are arranged in rows extending in an inward direction from one edge of the sheet and enclose with the adjacent edge or edges of the sheet, and if necessary other rows of perforations, relatively small areas closely surrounding the staples or like fastening means. In the form of block shown in the Figure, the rows of perforations 1 are arranged in pairs to form with the back edge of the sheet triangular areas, the apex of each area coinciding with a limb of a staple 2. In a modification especially suitable for calendars and notebooks, the staples are arranged in the top corners, and rows of perforations run from the top edge to the adjacent side of each sheet to enclose the staples. In a further modification the perforations extend along three sides of a rectangle, the fourth side of which is formed by the top edge of the sheet, and in the centre of each such rectangle a staple is arranged.
