Abstract

399,024. Dowelling. BUILDERS FLOORING & MILLWORK, Ltd. and McMURRAY, T. E., 228, St. Helens Avenue, Toronto, Canada. Oct. 15, 1932, No. 28883. [Class 89 (ii).] A fabricated wooden section for flooring or panelling is built up from a number of blocks 20 which are interconnected by square pins 24, Fig. 1, or keys 30, Fig. 4, engaging in circular holes 23 or 35 in the blocks, one diagonal of each pin or key being in the plane of the section and the other in a plane at right-angles thereto. In the form shown in Fig. 1. the keys 24 extend across the complete width of the section. In the other arrangement, Fig. 4, each key 30 functions between two adjacent blocks only, and the keys are arranged in rows as shown, or in staggered formation.
