Abstract
398,880. Discharge apparatus. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., Marconi House, Strand, London, and EWEN, H. A., Gray Walls, Priest Lane, Shenfield, Essex. March 23, 1932, No. 8680. [Class 39 (i).] A safety or indicating device, applicable for use in connection with liquid cooled thermionic valves, and operated by failure of liquid flow, comprises a pipe 4 leading into a chamber having, a weir 2 or equivalent, and a plate 6 which descends when flow ceases. A stem 7 carries an adjustable nut 10 adapted to move a spring blade 12 to close an electric circuit, and a pointer 14 co-operating with a fixed scale. A single casing may contain several devices separated by partitions, and a temperatureoperated switch.
