Abstract
Armour plate hardened on one side is made from a steel alloy containing 0,05-0,65 per cent of carbon, 1-4,5 per cent of chromium, 0,1-1,5 per cent of molybdenum and 1,5 per cent of cobalt or of cobalt and nickel, the cobalt content being at least 1 per cent. The molybdenum may be wholly or partly replaced by 1,5-3 times as much tungsten.
