Abstract
397,012. Folding-boxes. TOPPING, I. G., Dalston Road, and HUDSON, SCOTT, & SONS, Ltd., both in Carlisle. Jan. 6,1933, No. 520. [Class 18.] A collapsable box which can be converted into a display box by raising the bottom and securing it in position by a tongue and slot is made from the blanks shown in Figs. 1 and 2, of which the parts k, j, j, Fig. 2, and a, Fig. 1, are joined by metallic or glued fasteners to constitute the back and sides and the front respectively of a rectangular body frame the part b constituting the bottom, the parts g, c side and back flaps and parts e<1>, e<2> a lid. The bottom is brought to display position by raising it and engaging a slot i in the flap c on a tongue o defined by notches n in the back k. The lid may be folded about the line q and the edge f engaged behind the tongue o so as to form a display flap.
