Abstract
396,477. Water-tube hot-water boilers. GUILLAUMIN, L. J. A. and TILLETT, A. J., 31, Vauxhall Bridge Road, London. March 7, 1932, No. 6755. [Class 64 (i).] In a coil-tube boiler, an enlargement in the coil 1 houses the capsule 18 of a thermostatic gas valve. The coil is formed in two parts secured by a joint 2 which is provided with a pocket 3 for the capsule so as to avoid restriction of the flow of water. The capsule is connected by a pipe 4 with a bellows adapted to co-operate with a valve seat ; it may also be connected thermally by a copper tube and rod with the pilot jet.
