[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 31, 1932.] [Class 102 (i).] The valve E of a liquid meter or measuring pump has a lost-motion connection with a bellcrank lever 40 carrying a wedge cam 41 adapted to co-operate with a similar cam 42 on a lever 43 acted on by a spring 44. A member 16 or 17 on the piston rod engages near the end of the stroke with the lever. 40, and causes movement of the lever 43 and stressing of the spring. At the end of the stroke, the cam points pass each other, and the lever 43 returns to complete the movement of the lever 40 and reverse the valve.
